Happy Valentines Day!

On this day, we celebrate what we believe is the day to show our loved ones appreciation.

However, not all of us in the world today are feeling the "LOVE".

And I, would consider myself a very SELFISH individual if I allowed the minuscule issues in my life to distract me from the bigger picture.

For example, there are a few people in my life right now that I feel as if, maybe im giving too much of myself to, and they seem to continue to let their own ideals and judgments define how they see me as a person. Which is their right, however, from my perspective they still don't see who I really am, and it upsets me to a certain extent.

But when you need to let people go, its always for the better. You might imagine it to be something else when its really not, and that's dangerous. Its healthier to just let it go and keep it moving. Some people don't appreciate shit until its gone, and they can enjoy the burden of knowing they lost something because of nothing.

So that would be my distraction, the sadness of trying to hold on to friendships that weren't meant to be. But im glad to say there are a few people in my life that show me the same respect and love back, and THOSE people I am SO THANKFUL for!!!

And on a much more important note, we can sit around and analyze life and what's wrong with our own happiness, but there is a country (HAITI) on this planet right now that could care less about Valentines Day. And they need our help, BIG TIME.

Singing "We Are The World" and donating money only can help so much. But it should be an example of what we are doing wrong in our lives...Mother Earth and Humanity are connected whether we accept it or not. And as long as we don't take care of ourselves and stop arguing over stupid shit, we're never gonna see the big picture. The End Of The World is not likely, but if it was, I would not blame some Secret Elite Cult.

Because even if they do exist, we are the one's acting foolish and buying into the stupidity and obnoxious behavior. Point the finger at YOURSELF. Be critical of your flaws, correct yourself when its necessary, and if you think im just being philosophical, well ohhhhh boy I feel bad for ya! I know there are other 20 year old men and women out there who feel me, if you don't, thats your right to not and if you do, im glad WE (reader & writer) see Eye - to - Eye.

So put your testosterone aside for today, and realize the words you use to hurt other people only reflect the self-hatridge you won't let go of. I will take my own advice as well...and remember that every day is a day to Love yourself and let others love.
