Tomorrow I become 20, feels like the years went by fast, but then again it doesn't.
Something interesting always seems to happen around my birthday, and last night history repeated itself again lol
Me and a few friends went for what originally planned to be a casual ride, and ended up seeing strange things.
On our way back from partially failed night, we had been pulled over. The officer misinterpreted the intention of what I said and started haulin ass on homie lol. Frisked down, grabbin on the junk and what not, found nothing. I made some serious eye contact with homie and we both saw right through eachother...literally a minute later he had said "see, now im starting to like you already" and we engaged in small chat about the weather differences in other states. Strange yet satisfying.
Of course, there are other minor details being left out, but the bottomline is : The cop wanted respect, freaked out when he mistakenly thought he was disrespected, saw my respect, than chilled out and respected me.
My personal belief is that he was correct, I should have not done what I did. However, that was quite an awkward reaction of him to get that offended over almost nothing. Which leads me to believe...maybe the people in the highest authority have the lowest self esteem. Which is why they crave power over other people. Just a thought.
It Gets Alot Weirder!
About 5 minutes later, we see a medium-sized car ROLLING over onto the other side of the highway and we were about 25-30 feet away! That shit looked like it was a movie, all 3 of us were chanting the casual "dude WTF". The car actually kept rolling until it landed perfectly on the tires =/
Oh lord.
My friend notified the station about the incident.
Being back home felt so good. And all of that made me thankful for the moment i have right now. And thankful for everything positive and negative in my life. Because its what makes this fucked up life so beautiful. And through the hardest time, being able to smile and make others laugh is the greatest weapon you might never know you have.

Shock Value II >>> Shock Value
The new Timbo album is hot...it took me quite a few spins to really appreciate some of the songs though...at first the jojo and miley cyrus joints are kind of questionable but after a few listens it starts sounding fun to listen to once you let your guard down. Timbaland is actually putting conscious songs out too, quite a few on here. Carry Out should be a spring/summer single.
Meet Me In The Middle grows on you pretty quick, Say Something is a trunk rattler, the nickelback joint sounded kind of strange on paper but its not bad...timbo has the ability to take any artist and add music that compliments they're style well. Morning After Dark is an absolute smash, ("Way I Are" territory) the Katy Perry joint is different...i wasnt crazy about the chorus at first, im still not sure if its growing on me yet but the whole feel of the song has an electro-pop-house track with broadway-midwestern-esque vocals, prob. the standout track on here.
Can You Feel It is pretty psychedelic, has a freestyle/80's kinda feel...sounds awesome lol. Ease Off The Liquor is standard Timbo banger shit, on some jungle-boogie fireworks synths poppin shit...vibrant bassline that adds crazy swag.
The next 4 songs are alternative rock/electro tracks, i havent really took time to break them down but the one song "Timothy Where You Been" where he says "im like a warm summer breeze in the swimming pool...im cool" and you remember how many songs you rocked in the 90's that timbo produced...how many aaliyah, missy elliot and ginuwine tracks he put that bump to. Im not crazy about boast tracks but this one has a refreshing acoustic guitar melody to it.
The last two songs, "The One I Love" and "Symphony" are a confusing way to end an album but you gotta let your mind work it out. Keri Hilson is always a pleasant feature...always delivers. And the outro contains the most rhymes, which was kind of cool to close things out with. Its like he started Shock Value out with hip hop and melded into pop/rock/house/club. On part 2, its reverse. All of the pop ballads come first, then the harder shit.
Overall id say its better than the previous volume, possibly timbo's best work to date in my opinion. Artist selections could have been a little less super-pop (jojo, katy perry, miley cyrus, chad kroager) and possibly more hardcore punk-pop (lady gaga, rihanna, kat deluna) shit even Lily Allen would sound dope on a timbo track.
8.7
Highlight Song:
Now im not a fan of B2K, but the dude Omarion can actually put some good shit out...ive heard like 4-5 of his singles that were dope and this one stuck out most to me. Im 99% sure Timbaland produced the beat, and Kat Deluna is one of the most underrated chicks in the game. The backup vocals she does during the chorus is ill...(the oooh oooh), idk who arranged the melody of this song but there is not ONE note that sounds out of place.

Don't Be Afraid To Love Your Life
If your generally a happy person, this blog post isn't necessarily targeting you. I like using this website to pass along advice that I pick up or learn in life to help other people out there who haven't seen or experienced what I have yet a better chance at understanding what they are going through...
Being happy is something you learn to be. Its never given to us. We can be spoiled as a child and given a toy everytime we cry, but growing up as adults we will react the same way, and if you don't have a billion dollar budget to pay personal assistants to take care of your every need, than you can go no where in the world, with a crybaby attitude as such.
The sad thing is, the more you try to convince yourself that you are something your NOT, the more you become it. This is my personal conclusion of course, im still learning how to be happy in my life. Ive been through alot of bullshit, and everyone goes through bullshit, so if anyone out there feels like they are singled out, remember that there is someone out there that's in alot more pain than you are.
Thinking positive requires the ability to control your mind, people who allow negative thoughts to consume the every day life tend to let their mind control them instead. Ive been one of those people, and the more you think its NOT possible to change, it never will be.
You can be happy about anything in life. Its good to remind yourself of the good qualities you have, but never ignore the bad ones. Instead, embrace your faults and look towards yourself for what you hate about everyone else. If you love yourself, its alot easier to love other people.
I don't know why i give a fuck, so you can read this and ask yourself "why does he care?". Or, you can assume i have too much time on my hands and paint whatever perception you want of me. But in the end, that never mattered to ME. I, (the writer), only write for the people paying attention. They are the one's who need another voice somewhere in this world to convey the thoughts they cant.
If i can accomplish one thing before i leave this world, hopefully it will be influencing people to embrace the truth that i've found in my life, which is that Everything is Everything, and Nothing is Nothing. There are no limits, never was, and never will be.
Peace!
